Get involved

There is a place for you here

Vincentians are teachers, retirees, nurses, students, and neighbors who decided to show up. No experience needed — we will train you and pair you with an experienced partner.

Community volunteers arriving at a service center together

Ways to serve

Join a conference

Make home visits with a partner, listen to neighbors, and decide together how to help. Most conferences meet twice a month.

Serve at the Family Resource Center

Help in the dining room, food pantry, shower program, or at one of the free clinics in Pittsburg.

Volunteer at a thrift store

Sort donations, help customers, or join the truck crew picking up furniture across the county.

Donate goods

Gently used clothing, furniture, and household items keep our stores stocked and our vouchers meaningful.

Youth and young adults

Students can serve through parish youth conferences, food drives, and the Friends of the Poor Walk.

Professional skills

Attorneys, nurses, dentists, translators, and job coaches are always needed at our clinics and programs.
