What we can help with
Rent and eviction prevention
Back rent, late fees, and move-in deposits, in partnership with Season of Sharing and Shelter Inc.
Utilities
PG&E, water, and garbage bills that are past due or facing shut-off.
Food
Emergency groceries from our pantry and a free hot lunch every weekday.
Clothing and furniture
Store vouchers for our three thrift stores, including furniture delivery.
Medical and dental
Free clinics for uninsured adults, plus help with prescriptions.
Transportation
Bus passes, gas cards, and limited auto repair to keep a job.
Assistance is limited and depends on the funds each conference has available. We will always tell you what we can and cannot do, and refer you to other agencies when we cannot cover the full need.
How it works
1. Apply
Complete the online application in about 15 minutes. You can save and come back.
2. We match you
Your application goes to the conference serving your city or parish boundary.
3. Home visit or call
Two Vincentians meet with you, in your home or by phone, to understand the full picture.
4. Assistance
Approved help is paid directly to your landlord or utility, or issued as a store voucher.

- Signed release of information so we can coordinate with other agencies
